Rocket man.

“I’m like the six year old boy who wants to be an astronaut.

Everyday he looks at the stars and the moon whispering to himself, “someday I’ll be up there too.” It gets him through life. Damn it, it’s a dream he clings to. It will make him great in the eyes of every person that has ever thought he was anything less than spectacular.

Then, he becomes the twenty-something year old adult and he comes to the realization that he sucks at math. He also has a heart condition that prevents him from going on so much as a mildly scary roller coaster, and his eye sight is failing.

No rocketships for him.

In fact, in five or six years he probably won’t even be able to see the stars very well.”
